About Kami Roach, M.A.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and an approved Clinical Supervisor in the state of Idaho. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling from Adams State University in Colorado, with a dual emphasis in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling. I grew up in the Magic Valley and love providing support to this community as a mental health counselor.

I particularly love working with clients who are seeking growth, clarity, and support in their lives and relationships. Life often demands more from us than we can comfortably give—whether in relationships, responsibilities, self-worth/identity, or emotional pain. I offer a space that is both supportive and challenging, where clients can reflect, process, and move toward meaningful change.

My therapy approach blends evidence-based practices tailored to my clients’ needs and goals combined with a strong foundation of trust and collaboration. I provide individual, couples, family, and co-parenting therapy for clients ages 10 and up. While I work with a wide range of concerns, my focus is on helping people improve their relationship patterns, including their relationships with themselves, family, friends, coworkers, etc. I bring specific experience in addressing anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship struggles, communication issues, spirituality, co-parenting, and divorce.

Because I believe the quality of our relationships is central to mental health and healing, I am currently pursuing dual licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), under the supervision of Dr. Michael Whitehead, Ph.D., LMFT.
