Rates For Services
Therapy Service Rates

Intake Appointment (45-90 minutes): $275.00
Initial intake appointments require more in-depth assessment of client needs, initial paperwork for services, and other important services. Hence this appointment is charged at a higher rate than an regular therapy session.

Therapy Session (30-60 minutes): $175.00
Every service from individual therapy, play therapy, couple therapy, and family therapy, that lasts up to 60 minutes are billed at this rate.

Extended Therapy Sessions (15 minutes each): $25.00
Any service that surpasses the initial 60 minute session, will be billed at this rate for every 15 minute increment.

Late Cancellation/No-Show Fee: $75.00
Since each appointment is a reservation of the providers time, if a sessions is not cancelled within 24 hours of the start of the scheduled appointment, the client will be responsible for this fee. Every provider has discretion of when to apply or waive the fee, and each individual client circumstance is considered when making those decisions.
Other Service Rates

Consultation/Collaboration/Observation/Writing: $75.00
Collaboration or consultation with other mental health providers, medical providers, school staff, other adjacent service professionals, letter writing, emails, or other additional professional services will be billed to the client at this rate. This rate is not covered by insurance and the client is responsible for covering these charges.

Insufficient Funds/Returned Check Fee: $50.00
If at anytime a payment is returned, the client will be assessed this fee to recoup bank charges that are charged when such instances occur.

Record Processing Fee: $20.00
The administrative costs to collect, and prepare records requests are recouped using this fee.

Printing/Compiling Records Fee: $0.53
This is the charge to print or compile therapy records for the first 40 pages.

Printing/Compiling Records Fee: $0.30
Every page after the first 40, will be processed at this rate.
Special Service Rates

Family Reunification Therapy Services (Retainer): $3,500.00
Due to the nature of Family Reunification Therapy services, a retainer in this amount is required before services can begin. Each session will be billed at the normal therapy rates (see above) and deducted from this retainer once services have begun.

Parenting Coordination Services (Retainer): $3,500.00
Due to the nature of parenting coordination services, a retainer in this amount is required before services can begin. Every meeting, collateral contact, and other case work will be billed at the regular rates (see above), and deducted from this retainer once services begin.

Co-Parenting Therapy Services (Retainer): $3,500.00
Due to the nature of Co-Parenting Therapy services, a retainer in this amount is required before services can begin. Each session will be billed at the normal therapy rates (see above) and deducted from this retainer once services have begun.

Marathon Couple Therapy Services: $2,999.00
Marathon Couple Therapy is not covered by insurance, and to ensure payment for services a 50% deposit ($1,499.50) is required to secure an appointment.
Payment for Services
We accept cash, check (payable to “Aspen Grove Family Therapy, Inc.”) or payments via Square. All payments are due at the time of service.
Each provider at Aspen Grove Family Therapy is contracted with different insurance company’s due to differences in licensure status. The following is a list of different insurance companies we take. It is your responsibility to ensure that the provider you are seeing is contracted with your insurance. A list of the most common insurance companies we are in-network with are:
- Blue Cross of Idaho
- Regence BlueShield of Idaho
- Optum/United Healthcare (Commercial)
- Aetna
- St. Luke’s Health Plan
- Select Health
- PacificSource
- Mountain Health Co-op
- and many other subsidiaries of the above networks.
We are also willing to provide you with a ‘superbill’ which can be used to submit your payments to an insurance company we are not currently networked with for reimbursement.
Important Note: Even though we take insurance and will do all in our power to receive payment from your insurance provider, you are still responsible to verify they will cover your services. We do our best to ensure proper billing, but you will be responsible for any payments not made by the insurance company (due to deductible, copay, or missed sessions). Third Party Payments
We also accept payment from other third party payers, outside of insurance companies, however this needs to be arranged between you and the payer before services are started. If the payer ends payment, you will become responsible for payments not received.
Missed Appointments
Your appointment is essentially reserving the therapists time and office for that hour. If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment we will have to reschedule for another day and you will be responsible for missed session fee ($75), due at the next scheduled session. If you fail to cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance, you will be responsible for the missed session fee ($75), due at the next scheduled session.
Sliding Fee/Reduced Rate Services
At Aspen Grove Family Therapy, we are committed to reducing as many barriers to care as possible – including financial barriers. Each of our clinicians reserves a portion of their caseload for clients who need reduced-rate services. In addition, several of our providers are approved FLUD clinicians, and when appropriate, we can apply FLUD funds to help offset the cost of treatment.
If we are not in-network with your insurance and have availability in our reduced-rate caseloads, we will do our best to find a way to support your care. We also work with graduate-level therapy interns who provide services under the close supervision of licensed professionals. These student therapists are able to offer additional reduced-rate options for individuals and families seeking support.
