About Holly Anderson, MSW

Holly was born and raised in southern Idaho. She completed her undergraduate degree at Idaho State University and her master’s degree at Utah State, both in dietetics. She has worked as a dietitian in many areas but found a passion for working with individuals surrounding food and body image. This work led Holly to return to school where she graduated from Boise State in December 2022 with a Master of Social Work degree. As an eating disorder dietitian, Holly helps clients build a positive relationship with food in a weight-neutral approach using an Intuitive Eating framework. In this role, Holly works collaboratively with clients to create a peaceful connection between food and their bodies, prioritizing clients’ overall health and well-being. As an eating disorder therapist, Holly also knows firsthand the anxiety that can come with food and body image and loves to help individuals make peace with food and their body utilizing approaches such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Internal Family Systems.

Outside of work, Holly loves spending time with her husband, kids, and three cats. She enjoys learning and being outside in the sunshine. She also enjoys baking – especially bread!
